Hot Air Ballon, Northam

For the first time in more then 30years, Northam, about 100 kilometres North-East of Perth in the Avon Valley hosted the Australian National Ballooning Championships. I was lucky enough to float up in the air with Windward Balloon Adventures to see some of the country’s best hot air balloonists in one of their practice runs. The views from up in the sky were something you can only dream of! Witnessing multiple balloons fly towards the horizon, while the morning mist lifted from the valley’s and the early morning sun lit up the rolling hills it was an experience I will never forget.
